This article examines the issue of psychologism in the stories of the prominent Uzbek writer Shukur Kholmirzayev. The research analyzes the artistic means through which the author portrays the inner world, emotional experiences, and psychological states of his characters. Particular attention is paid to narrative techniques such as inner monologue, artistic detail, symbolic description, and internal conflict. Using textual and comparative literary analysis, the study demonstrates that Kholmirzayev’s prose represents an important stage in the development of psychological realism in Uzbek literature. The findings indicate that the writer’s works reveal deep philosophical reflections about human nature, morality, and the relationship between the individual and society. Through psychological depth and subtle narrative devices, the author creates vivid characters whose internal struggles become the central focus of the narrative.
