Abstract

The article examines the problems of studying and translating the Quran into Russian, reveals the features and difficulties of translating this Holy Book of Humanity. The history of translations of the Quran into Russian is not limited to the history of oriental studies in Russia - it belongs to a special page in the history of Russian culture. The Quran is one of the main books of mankind, which is the main code of life for Muslims in the world, and in each period of development of Russian culture it had its own special approach to the interpretation and understanding of the meanings of the Divine Scripture. The article discusses different approaches to this topic, lists the names attached to this honorable work of translating the Quran, analyzes the features of their translations.
