Helicobacter Pylori and the Risk of Coronary Heart Disease (Literature Review)

The article analyzes data from foreign and Russian literature on the relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and the risk of developing cardiovascular pathology. Variants of pathogenetic mechanisms of formation of correlation between Helicobacter pylori and the risk of IHD are analyzed. There is more and more evidence that certain microbial agents may have an etiopathogenetic role in the development of atherothrombosis.
