This study investigates modern methods for diagnosing the technical condition of automotive fuel supply systems and evaluates the effectiveness of advanced maintenance technologies. The research focuses on the application of OBD-II diagnostics, fuel pressure testing, injector performance analysis, and electronic sensor evaluation in identifying common fuel system faults. The results show that injector contamination, fuel filter blockage, and sensor malfunctions are the most frequent issues affecting engine performance and fuel efficiency. The study demonstrates that modern diagnostic technologies significantly improve fault detection accuracy, reduce diagnostic time, and enhance maintenance efficiency compared to conventional methods. Additionally, preventive maintenance is shown to be more effective than corrective repairs in extending component lifespan and reducing repair costs. The findings also highlight the environmental benefits of properly maintained fuel systems, including reduced emissions and improved combustion efficiency. Overall, integrated diagnostic approaches contribute to higher vehicle reliability, better fuel economy, and more efficient automotive service operations.
