Ways to Increase the Efficiency of Using the Natural and Economic Potential of the Regions

The article discusses and gives detailed description to the competitive advantages and ways of the strategic development of the region. In particular, the agro-climatic conditions, desertification processes, water resources, land resources, fixed assets, industrial and social infrastructures, geographical location as well as issues of natural potential of strategic importance for the Republic of Karakalpakstan were discussed.
