This article analyzes the subject of media literacy and information culture, as well as its historical evolution. It highlights the formation of the concept of media literacy, the development of the information society, and the role of information culture in the modern digital environment. Furthermore, the stages of development of media literacy as a science and its significance in society are examined on a scientific basis.
