Abstract

The article examines a person's alcohol dependence, the reasons for taking alcohol, the reasons leading to alcoholism. Alcoholism is a violation of control over alcohol intake, addiction to alcohol, as well as alcohol consumption, despite the negative consequences. The article presents the stages of development of alcoholic illness, its consequences for fetal health, the course of alcoholism in women and harmful social consequences.
