Abstract

Secondary school education is the education designed to provide post-primary school education for the residents of Nigeria. Secondary school education is a bridge between the primary school education and the higher education. It is an education that is very important to the social, economic and technological development of the country. However, the administration of public secondary schools are plagued with corruption. The paper discussed the effects of corruption on public secondary school administration in Nigeria. Both primary and secondary data were explored and employed in the paper. Effects of corruption on secondary school administration were identified and recommendation were made to address these problems of corruption in the secondary school administration in Nigeria.
