The rent performs the functions of reimbursement of the value of the property, accumulation, stimulation of labor activity, redistribution of income and acts as one of the economic reforms of the realization of property rights. When leasing out real estate, the owner has the right to return its value with an appropriate increase. In the article the estimation of a rent by a cost method of a commercial real estate object is considered.
